The ones I was given for my '96 (non Spicers) were right by the stores computer but were to long - I played hell getting the right ones, ended up going through 3 places before somebody had them and measuring with my calipers everyone they gave me until I found them.
Jan 26, 2008 · One option to get into a non-greasable type joint would be to buy both a 3R/1330 conversion joint and a 1330/1330 big cap(or special) joint. Then swap the 1330 big caps to the 1330 journals on the 3R joint, I believe the journals are the same sizes, but I'll double check tomorrow at work.

I tried the Ford Motorsport 1310/1330 conversion u-joint. It is in fact NOT a square u-joint but different lengths which is correct. But the 1-1/8" caps were too big for the rear yoke and the original 1-1/16" caps do in fact fit. The looseness must be some wear in the yoke or normal tolerance. The Ford u-joint comes with both sized caps.
